Sleeping in the middle of the forest and gazing at the night sky will be part of this experience. The astronomy camp at La Estanzuela will feature a new edition that combines camping, stargazing, and astrophotography in the mountains.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 5, at the New La Estanzuela Park. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. and continue throughout the night, ending at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 6. The cost will be $300 per person.
The event will be held in collaboration with the Nuevo León Astronomical Society, and one of the main highlights will be looking up at the sky to discover the wonders that can be observed at night.
La Estanzuela Astronomy Camp: Here’s What to Expect
This event combines different experiences in a single night: nature, camping, and astronomy. In addition to sleeping surrounded by forests and mountains, participants will have the opportunity to take part in stargazing and astrophotography activities.
There is one essential detail you must consider before registering: each participant will need to bring their own tent to spend the night in the park.
You can attend individually or as a group. If you register with companions, you’ll need to provide each person’s information on the form and make the full payment of $300 for each registered participant.
The weather will be key to whether the camping trip can take place
Since this is an outdoor, all-night event, the astronomical camping event at La Estanzuela will depend on weather conditions.
Please also note that space is limited and that tickets are non-refundable. After completing registration and making the corresponding payment, you will automatically receive a copy of your registration details at the email address you provided.
It will be a great option for those looking to spend a unique night near Monterrey and get a taste of astronomy while enjoying the natural surroundings of La Estanzuela.
