If you’re one of those people counting down the days until Halloween, mark this event on your calendar. Horror Fest 2026 will return to Monterrey on October 3 and 4 with two days dedicated to horror, costumes, and experiences designed to give you more than a few scares.
This year’s event will take place in Halls G and H at Cintermex, and details about some of the activities have already been released. Among them will be haunted houses, the Scare Zone, a costume contest, paranormal investigators, and the must-see exhibitor area.
In addition, international guests are expected, along with various surprises that will be revealed as the event approaches.
Horror Fest 2026 will feature experiences based on *Terrifier* and *Welcome to Derry*
One of the most intriguing details about this year’s event is that the Cintermex program previews content related to the worlds of *Terrifier* and *Welcome to Derry*.
For now, not all the details about these experiences or the complete list of international guests have been released, so we’ll have to wait for the festival’s upcoming announcements to find out which personalities and attractions will be part of the event.
What is confirmed, however, is that Horror Fest will once again feature activities for those who enjoy horror movies, paranormal stories, and, of course, dressing up as their favorite characters.
A horror festival with more than two decades of history
Horror Fest returns after celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025. That edition featured guests associated with productions such as *Halloween*, *Chucky*, and *Merlina*, as well as panels, photo sessions, and autograph signings.
The 2026 lineup will be different, and there are still some announcements to come, but we already know the dates and times so we can start planning our Halloween festivities.
