Great news! Well the Secretaría de Desarrollo Urbano Sostenible is inviting all those who wish to get a tree 100% free at the Adopt a Tree Mty event.
This event will be very special, as the initiative that seeks to forest our city will be celebrating its 7th edition and also World Tree Day.
The Adopt a Tree Mty event will take place this weekend, Saturday 
June 28th and will be located at 
Camino de los Triunfadores Street in the Cumbres neighborhood. The event will be open from 
10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
This initiative that seeks to raise awareness about the importance of taking care of our trees and our natural environment will have different species native to Nuevo Leon, such as mesquite, anacahuita and ebony trees. The event is 100%free admission at 
, but does require prior registration.

Do you want to adopt a tree? You need to know that you will have to make a previous registration at this link, and that each registration will be able to take a maximum of two trees for free.
On the other hand, it is important that you know that you must have an ideal space to plant the tree, and that this space must be located within the Municipality of Monterrey.
You must also commit to the transportation, planting, watering and maintenance of the tree you decide to adopt, so you must come to the event with a vehicle where you can take it and an official identification of the adopter.
