One of ballet’s most beloved classics is coming to Monterrey with a revamped production, live music, and an unprecedented collaboration between professional artists and students. The Ballet de Monterrey, together with Tecnológico de Monterrey and the Tec Symphony Orchestra, will present a new version of Don Quixote, a production that promises to be one of the season’s most important cultural events.
Inspired by the work of Miguel de Cervantes, this ballet stands out for its energy, color, and festive style. Unlike other more dramatic classical productions, Don Quixote offers a lighthearted, dynamic experience full of spectacular moments that resonate with all types of audiences.
The major difference in this production will be the live music, performed by the Tec de Monterrey Symphony Orchestra. This will give each performance unique nuances, as dancers and musicians will need to synchronize in real time throughout the entire performance.
A production that brings together professional talent and new generations

This collaboration between the Ballet de Monterrey and Tec also represents a formative experience for music students, who will share the stage with professional dancers in a production of high artistic caliber.
The adaptation was created especially for the company by artistic director Yosvani Ramos, who brought together international talent and new generations of artists in a contemporary production that preserves the traditional essence of the work.
In addition, each performance will feature rotating casts, allowing the audience to enjoy different interpretations and styles at every show.
