The welcome of Christmas in San Pedro has already been announced! And to celebrate, there will be a “Parade in the Stars” and a series of free admission workshops in the different parks of the area.
The first thing you should know is that “Parade in the Stars” actually refers to three Christmas parades that you won’t want to miss.
Originally two were to happen this Saturday, December 7 and another on Sunday, December 8. However, due to weather issues, the ones on Saturday, December 7 were postponed to Saturday, December 14.
The first one will take place at 4:15 p.m., and you will find it on Clouthier Ave. at the corner with Gold, ending on the same street at the Skate Park.
The second one will take place at 6:30 p.m. at Parque Casco. It will start on Vasconcelos Ave. corner with Corregidora and will end on the same street corner with Santa Barbara.
What’s in store for the parades? They will be the biggest visual spectacle of the season, with 10 floats and more than 1,000 participants parading through the streets of San Pedro.
“Parade in the Stars” will count with the special participation of outstanding institutions and academies, among them:
