La Huasteca Ecological Park will transform into a vast fantasy realm with the return of the Middle Earth Medieval Festival for its fifth edition. On June 6 and 7, this event will feature combat, equestrian shows, a medieval circus, and even a Viking village set against one of Nuevo León’s most breathtaking natural backdrops.
One of the main attractions will be the giant kites flying among the mountains of La Huasteca, creating an atmosphere that seems straight out of a fantasy movie. In addition, the festival will feature interactive activities for all ages, so you can test your aim at archery or axe throwing.
There will be combat, a medieval circus, and interactive activities
The Tierra Media Medieval Festival will also feature combat shows, soft combat, and equestrian performances that will recreate battles and scenes inspired by the medieval era. Added to this is a medieval circus and the presence of exotic animals that will complement the themed experience.
Another highly anticipated attraction will be the Viking village, where you can explore themed areas filled with characters, themed merchandise, and various activities to take photos or simply immerse yourself in the fantastical atmosphere.
There will also be a market area with products inspired by medieval culture, fantasy, and handmade crafts.
There will also be camping options in La Huasteca
If you want to enjoy the full experience, the festival offers a camping option. This pass includes admission for both days, a camping area, access to the medieval shows, the Viking village, and the themed market.
That said, it’s important to note that if you’re staying to camp, you’ll need to bring your own tent, and only a maximum of two people per tent will be allowed. They also noted that outside food will not be permitted in the camping area.
