Many of these evenings all we crave is our couch, a good blanket and our favorite series. But that plan wouldn’t be complete without a nice, comforting cup of hot chocolate, so we gathered our favorite options in Monterrey.
This plan also applies to start the Christmas movie marathon.
Cocoan
We open this delicious list with a place that has turned the chocolate tradition into a true art. At Cocoan they boast a simple and sincere mission: “to offer you the best version of your favorite chocolate”. For that, they created a very complete menu of options to drink and eat, highlighting cocoa powder, handmade truffles, chocolates in bars or by the gram, covered strawberries and much more.
Of course, hot chocolate with milk could not be missing from their menu. You can choose between whole milk, lactose-free, almond or coconut milk, all of which taste delicious! They manufacture the raw materials, so you can expect all the quality and flavor in each steaming, frothy cup.

The flasks and beakers in which they serve their creations deserve a special mention. They come in various shapes and sizes and give a really original touch. The drinking menu is very extensive in terms of coffees (lattes, cappuccinos, Irish) and they also offer teas, smoothies and seasonal drinks.
And if you get hungry, the menu is non-stop! There are sandwiches, pancakes, paninis, French toasts, waffles and bakery.

It is very difficult to pass by their extensive variety of cakes, brownies and cheesecakes, which are their forte, to concentrate on their hot chocolate proposal. It is huge, served on a layer of liquid chocolate and crowned with minimal marshmallows that get lost in the foam. Highly recommended.
Other hot alternatives can be found in their extensive bar of coffees and teas, although they also have a wide range of cold and iced drinks. To accompany, you really can’t miss their tremendous menu of cakes: red velvet, chocolate, carrot, almond toffee, banana, vanilla and many more. To start the day they serve enchiladas, chilaquiles, sincronizadas or quesadillas.
