La Pastora Zoo ‘s star African elephant turns 19 years old and this animal enclosure will be celebrating and they are inviting everyone to celebrate Monty’ s birthday!
The first thing you should know is that the beautiful Monty was born on May 6, 2006 in Nuevo Leon and he is one of the main stars of the zoo.
This beautiful regal elephant will celebrate his 19th birthday this weekend, Sunday, May 25 at Sunday, May 25th at
10:30 am.
Everyone is invited to the celebration! You will be able to eat cake and sing Monty’s mañanitas. We recommend you wear comfortable clothes and shoes, a hat or cap and sunscreen to protect you from the sun.

The unmissable La Pastora Zoo was officially inaugurated in July 1985, and since then its purpose has been to provide a place of recreation and culture to its visitors, as well as to maintain and preserve different species of wild flora and fauna.
Here you can meet more than 100 species of animals from different regions of the planet, and learn more about their characteristics, care and current conservation status.
You can visit La Pastora Zoo from Tuesday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Friday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.

The cost for adults is $60 per person, children from 3 to 12 years old and INAPAM $30. Children under 2 years old and people with disabilities will be admitted free of charge.
