Monterrey is getting ready to receive one of the most anticipated cultural events of the year: the Nuevo León Theater Festival 2025, a commemorative edition for the 30th anniversary of CONARTE, which will bring together the best of local stage talent in a week full of art and emotion.
From August 21 to 30, the public will be able to enjoy different plays with free admission.
This initiative, promoted by the Council for Culture and the Arts of Nuevo León (CONARTE), has the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Mexico, through the General Directorate for the Promotion of Festivals.
The call was open to theater companies, independent groups and scenic creators from the state, as long as the productions had already been premiered. With no restrictions on theme, format or audience, this edition seeks to highlight the creative diversity that characterizes the theater of the state.
From intimate dramas to experimental proposals, the six selected plays promise a unique experience for attendees. In addition, this anniversary is shaping up to be a living tribute to the efforts of hundreds of artists who have built, over three decades, a solid theater scene in Nuevo León.
