Christmas is already breathing down our necks and that means that punch, carols, colorful lights and Christmas stories are near. One of the stories you can’t miss this season is The Nutcracker in Monterrey, and we tell you where you can see this winter classic!
Where to see The Nutcracker in Monterrey?
The story of the most famous wooden soldier of Christmas will return to the Teatro de la Ciudad the last days of November and the first days of December with the Ballet de Monterrey, the dance company internationally recognized for its wonderful and talented dancers.
The Nutcracker is a story you may know from many movies or the Barbie adaptation that tells the story of Clara, a little girl who receives the little wooden soldier as a Christmas gift, which comes to life to transport her to a Christmas adventure.
The Christmas tale was written two centuries ago by the writer Ernst Hoffmann, although the best-known version is the children’s version by Alexandre Dumas, which is the one that has been the most widely used in theater. The staging of The Nutcracker in Monterrey is one of the best in our country because the Monterrey dance company will surprise you for approximately two hours.
