Iconic rooms of the Papalote Museo del Niño Monterrey that you have to visit.
This museum is focused on helping children become aware that we must take care of our planet, but there are many ways to make a change! Here are some of our favorite rooms:
- Radio and TV: share your ideas on how to care for the environment and become an environmental reporter.
- Simulator: this is a projection of our planet as if you were seeing it from space. Discover its natural phenomena and how important it is to maintain balance.
- Decide: this thematic area will teach children the importance of consuming products that do not harm the environment.
You can’t miss the IMAX mega-screen!
This is the latest generation mega-screen. It has 12 speakers with surround sound, 3D laser technology and is approximately the height of a 6-story building.
You will be able to watch incredible documentaries with the little ones:
- The Legend of the Enchanted Reef: Learn the importance of protecting our oceans from its inhabitants. Shorty is a fish that will have to find a new refuge when his reef is destroyed. It lasts 30 minutes and is perfect for the little ones.
- Future Cities: Learn how engineers are working to create a more sustainable future with solar power and even flying electric cars. This screening is a bit longer – it lasts an hour – but it’s well worth it.
- But that’s not all: you’ll also get to see the most anticipated Hollywood releases, such as Minecraft and, coming soon, The Amateur and Sinners.
