Attention nature lovers! The first unmissable astronomical event of the year is about to happen, and here we tell you everything you need to know so you don’t miss the 2025 alignment of planets in Monterrey.
The first thing you should know is that from January 18 to February 28, 2025 , six planets will be aligned in the night sky. And part of this spectacle will be visible to the naked eye!
It is important for you to know that an alignment of planets occurs when several planets are positioned in the same region of the sky, so this alignment is 100% an optical illusion generated by the orbits of the planets, and that is why we can see it from our perspective on Earth.
Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune will be aligned and the astronomical event can be seen in Mexico, so it is time to prepare a getaway to nature to enjoy it.
When and where to see the alignment of planets this 2025 in Monterrey?
Although it can be seen on different dates, you have to know that the best date to do it will be from January 21, and the best time to enjoy it will be between 18:00 and 19:00 hours, because in this range of time the planets will be more visible and bright in the sky.
Venus, Saturn, Jupiter and Mars will be visible to the naked eye in an environment with little light pollution. However, Neptune and Uranus will require special tools such as a telescope for viewing.
