If you’ve been looking for a different plan in Monterrey to break out of your routine, meet new people, and also learn something fun, this experience might interest you. Roller & Friends is hosting a new edition of its famous “date” at Parque Fundidora and promises an afternoon full of rollerblading, laughter, and new friendships.
The event is designed for both people who have never been on roller skates and those who already have experience and want to improve their technique while socializing with others. The idea is simple: step out of your comfort zone, have fun, and spend a unique afternoon in one of the city’s most iconic parks.
There will be a skating class, snacks, and dinner
The activity will include a class taught by Patina Ligero and its team of instructors, who will accompany participants throughout the experience. In addition to learning to skate, there will also be time to socialize, enjoy snacks, and wrap up the afternoon with a group dinner.
Roller & Friends has become popular for creating relaxed and safe spaces where many people arrive alone and end up making new friends. So if you don’t have anyone to go with, don’t worry: that’s exactly part of the experience.
The event will be held outdoors in Parque Fundidora, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothes, bringing water, and coming with the right attitude to fall, get back up, and keep trying.
