1. Pangea
Headed by chef Guillermo González Beristáin, this contemporary haute cuisine place has been on the list of the 50 best restaurants in Latin America for several years. Don’t miss the tomato tower and the angus rib eye.
2. La Nacional
Canteen food taken to another level, this place is an institution. You’ll find Mexican food with a modern twist. The quality of the meat is impressive and the starters are not far behind, from the grilled artichokes to the roasted cauliflower.
3. Fang
The proposal is as follows: to make the best fusion between northern, New York and Angelina gastronomy. The result is excellent quality cuts that you can also enjoy as tacos, plus delicious snacks, including a guacamole bar!
4. Oui Bardot
French food at its best, in this bistro you can find delicacies from this country and freshly sliced charcuterie, as well as a local and foreign cheese cart. The house specialty is, of course, boeuf bourguignon, a very traditional recipe.

A place to pair the best of fire cooking with a delicious selection of natural wines. The kitchen is in charge of chef Chuy Villarreal, who takes barbecue to another level. Our recommendation: go on a Saturday, start with some shells and ciders and follow with a good cut.
7. Mon Paris
A little French cafe perfect for brunch with several branches around the city. From quiche lorraine to crepes -with sweet and savory options- and eggs are always a good choice. In the afternoon you can also find fondue and onion soup.
8. Pilgrimage
Under the concept of table and drink, in this restaurant you will find a good variety of dishes inspired by Mexican cuisine but with a twist. Tip: on Saturdays and Sundays they usually have specialties ranging from roast chicken to barbecue short rib or head.
9. Koli
Within this gastronomic concept, created by two brothers: Rodrigo and Patricio Rivera-Río, you can enjoy a tasting menu that creatively explores the cuisine of northeastern Mexico. A seasonal menu with a theme is created and you can check it out on their networks or website.
10. Black Market
Here you can expect a good selection of Ensenada cuisine. In other words, fresh seafood of excellent quality. The callo de hacha sashimi -with black aguachile sauce to dip it in- is not to be missed, as well as the grilled octopus and the Mediterráneo shrimp.
