Hello new month! We welcome the spring heat and also a new month in the city. We tell you the must-see things to do in Monterrey during March 2024.
1. Don’t miss the Festivales Barriales de los 200 años de Nuevo León!
The next neighborhood festival will be on Friday, March 1 in the Valle de Santa Lucía neighborhood, in Monterrey, starting at 6:00 pm. Los Reyes del Camino, Los Acordeones Sinfónicos de Nuevo León 200, the lyrical expression of our folklore with Las Jaras and the contemporary dance of Las Fridas will be on the stage of the Secretaría de Cultura.
And on Sunday, March 3, at Monterrey’s Cerro de la Campana, the festival kicks off at 5:00 pm. Javier López y Los Reyes, the Acordeones Sinfónicos de Nuevo León 200, TOFAMUS and Flamencophilia will be performing.

2. Candlelight Ballet: The Best of The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Carmen
Are you a ballet lover? Imagine three of the most iconic pieces, danced and performed by candlelight, buy your tickets because they are sure to fly!

3. Wear purple at the San Pedro Street & Food Market #8M edition.
At this outdoor street market you’ll find more than 120 exhibitors offering you all kinds of products with a conscience.
What is this market about? Basically, it’s a project that seeks to promote an alternative form of ecological and local consumption. The place is divided in two: a commercial area and a food area.
The idea is for you to have a great Sunday, eat delicious food, buy a couple of little things for you and your home and, while you’re at it, you can even take a workshop, do some activity or walk your dog.

4. Marvel yourself with Transcendiendo by Ballet de Monterrey.
The Monterrey Ballet will kick off 2024 with a very special presentation that you won’t want to miss. As part of its 35th anniversary celebrations, you will be able to enjoy Transcendiendo.
Transcendiendo is a compilation of the iconic pieces that have left their mark on the Ballet de Monterrey over 3 decades.

5. Enjoy the Regional Festivals in Valle de las Salinas
The next regional festival will be on Sunday, March 10, in the Valle de las Salinas area, where all the public is summoned to Gral. Zuazua to enjoy the casts that will be headed by La Firma.
The UANL Folkloric Dance Company will also be on stage, as well as the incomparable voices and presence of Dolores Martinez and Alejandra Mango.

6. Take the little ones to MARCO’s Crea Sin Límites children’s workshop.
Take the little ones to learn through play. They will be able to test their abilities to play, imagine and create a work in the company of other children. It will be an activity full of creativity and fun!

7. Go green at the Irish Green Fest
This year, in addition to its green beer, you can enjoy pitchers of regular beer, whiskey tastings and tastings and delicious food trucks with a gastronomic offer that you won’t want to miss.
