This is an exhibition that is concentrated at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey, MARCO, and is focused on the artist Julio Galán. 4. Sculptures. Selections from our collection
This is a group exhibition located at the Pinoteca de Nuevo León. It is made up of 15 pieces by 12 sculptures from Nuevo León. The works are three-dimensional and made by great artists such as Cuauhtémoc Zamudio and Raúl de la Sosa.

5. Museum of the Writer
If you love literature, poetry or journalism, then don’t miss the Museo del Escritor. It is a collection with more than 100 books of universal and Latin American literature. You will find copies of the most important essayists, writers, poets, journalists and chroniclers of all times.
We love that there is a special section dedicated to Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra and Edgar Allan Poe. You will also find objects (such as typewriters and desks) that belonged to Mexican writers.

6. Sculpture Circuit
Also outdoors we can find interesting artistic exhibitions in Monterrey. Such is the case of the Sculpture Circuit of Fundidora Park. Each piece is by a different artist and elaborated with different techniques, materials and intentions.

7. Caste Gallery
Galería de Castas Mexicanas is one of the must-see exhibitions in Monterrey. It is located in the Museum of Mexican History and presents works by artists of the 18th century on the mestizaje in the viceroyalty of New Spain and Peru.
The collection has 133 pieces by New Spain painters and artists such as Miguel Cabrera, José Joaquín Magón, José de Paéz and Andrés de Islas.

8. Fugue and entropy
The artist Miguel Rodríguez Sepúlveda, through Fuga y entropía, gives us a semblance of his 20-year career. The exhibition, located at MARCO, includes 32 works presented in video format, sculptures, installations, photographs and performances that question the symbols in the collective memory.
You will also be able to witness the energy that the artist imprints on the elements and materials with which he works. This exhibition revolves around the historical and social narrative, as well as the identity of people within its “geopolitical dimension”.

9. Travel and transform ourselves
The Interactive Toy Museum is one of the favorite places for the little ones. There are collections of toys ranging from collectibles to toys from different eras.
One of the rooms we like the most is Travel and transform ourselves. It is a section made up of toy vehicles (cars, trains, trucks and more); through it we can see the evolution of transportation.
