Excellent news for art lovers! For through social networks, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Monterrey announced that it will have free admission every day for a limited time. We tell you everything you need to know about this period of free access at MARCO.
The first thing you should know is that you can visit it for free every day from February 28 to March 13 at the following times:
- Tuesday to Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This contemporary art space located in the center of the city will allow more people to get to know its facilities and visit the different exhibitions available.
The best part? You can enjoy a 10% discount at its restaurant on the same dates.
What exhibitions will you be able to enjoy this free access period at MARCO?
The museum is currently hosting two exhibitions that will be open during the free admission period at MARCO.
The first one is called “Contracultura” by artists Tania Candiani, Omar Gámez and Zhivago Duncan. And the second one is called “Tu imagen se borrará, pero nunca se la llevará el viento” (Your image will be erased, but the wind will never take it away) by artist Isaac Olvera.
It is important for you to know that during this free admission period, other exhibitions will be in the process of being mounted, so part of the galleries will be closed.
MARCO’s next exhibition will open on the following date:
- “Spirits in the Swamp” by Oscar Murillo on March 14.
