Parque del Agua is now ready to welcome visitors and locals with a program full of culture, music, and free activities. This new space in Monterrey will open its doors as part of the projects leading up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup™, becoming one of the city’s most important gathering spots over the coming weeks.
The opening will begin on June 11 at the Nuevo León Culture and Tradition Pavilion, where families can enjoy musical performances, artistic expressions, and culinary offerings in an environment designed for all ages.
One of the most anticipated events will be the tribute to Celso Piña, featuring performances by Ronda Machetera and Jhoniván. The concert will begin at 8:00 p.m. and promises to get the audience dancing to the rhythm of cumbia and the sounds that made the “Rebel of the Accordion” famous.
A new space to enjoy Monterrey
The Water Park is an approximately 80-hectare project that aims to transform this area of the city into a major tourist, cultural, and recreational corridor. In addition to connecting with the Monterrey Stadium, it will also integrate with La Pastora and the Río La Silla Park.
The initiative aims to leave a legacy that extends beyond the World Cup, offering spaces for socializing, entertainment, and cultural activities for future generations.
More than a month of free activities
The special program will run from June 11 to July 10 with events for the whole family. During this period, more than 650 artists will participate in various music, dance, and cultural performances that will showcase part of Nuevo León’s identity.
Visitors will be able to enjoy free activities every day, making the Water Park one of the must-see attractions of the season in Monterrey.
