Astronomical observation at Faisanes promises to become one of the most outstanding scientific and nighttime events in February.
On February 21, the iconic Faisanes Park will open its doors at dusk to offer an immersive experience that combines nature, scientific outreach, and contemplation of the universe.
One of the great differentiators of this astronomical night is its direct collaboration with the Nuevo León Astronomical Society, one of the most recognized institutions in scientific outreach in the state.
Thanks to this alliance, all activities will be guided by astronomers specializing in astrophysics and astrophotography, ensuring clear explanations, well-directed observations, and a high-quality experience for both beginners and enthusiasts.
All guided by experts
The dynamics of astronomical observation at Faisanes are designed to be enjoyed without crowds.
From 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., activities will take place simultaneously and in small groups distributed throughout the park’s esplanade, allowing each attendee to tour the event at their own pace.
Between 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., professional telescopes operated by the Nuevo León Astronomical Society will allow participants to observe the Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, the Pleiades, Sirius, Orion, and Aldebaran, as well as learn about the constellations associated with the animals in the zoo and their mythological and scientific context.
