4. El Manzano
If you are looking where to camp near Monterrey, El Manzano in the municipality of Santiago will be a great option. It is a protected natural reserve of 585 hectares where you will feel embraced by pastures and many trees. La botella and Don Sotero are the two main areas.
In the first one there are attractions such as cabins, games, a shed, a lodge and even a meeting room. While in Don Sotero there is a chapel, a shed, games, shelters and camping with barbecue grills, watch out! They do not have tent rentals.
