This weekend you will be able to enjoy a special edition of your favorite Sunday space! We tell you more about everything that awaits you at the San Pedro de Pinta Bear Day.
The first thing you should know is that Bear Day will take place on Sunday, February 23rd, and you can visit
from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm at
Rotonda Calzada del Valle.
This special edition of San Pedro de Pinta is dedicated to the conservation of the black bear, a species that inhabits northeastern Mexico and that we are seeing more and more frequently in the city.
As the city’s growth and other important factors increase, the black bears that inhabit the mountains and ecological parks such as Chipinque, La Estanzuela and La Silla, come down to the city in search of water and food, which increases the chances of encountering one.
That is why it is essential to learn more about the species and know how to act in the case of encountering a black bear.
Through educational activities and interactive dynamics, we seek to raise awareness in the community about the importance of preserving their habitat and encourage responsible coexistence with wildlife.
You can enjoy workshops and free admission activities that revolve around the species and that will be aimed at the whole family. An excellent Sunday plan!
