What if you could experience the sound of Louis Armstrong’s “Hello Dolly!” up close? The Jazz Room comes to Monterrey with a new live concert where you can enjoy this timeless musical genre in an intimate setting that also leaves room for improvisation (as is only natural in jazz). A first-person journey to 1920s New Orleans… without leaving our city.
The Jazz Room Monterrey: What concerts are on now?

A Journey to the Heart of New Orleans
Since we can’t travel back in time, this concert brings the past into the present (musically speaking). With a repertoire featuring the best of jazz, ragtime, and blues, this concert takes you on a journey through the greatest hits of this musical genre, which was born in Louisiana in 1920. Songs like “When the Saints Go Marching In” and “Bassin’ Saint Blues” will be performed live by a professional jazz band.
A Tribute to Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong
Combining Sinatra’s silky phrasing with Armstrong’s earthy, almost playful rhythm, the evening offers a journey through vocal swing and the instrumental tradition of jazz with a flexible, dynamic setlist, fueled by the energy of a live performance. “Fly Me to the Moon,” “What a Wonderful World,”“My Way,” and other classics will be performed in an elegant, warm, and deeply classic atmosphere.
Tribute to Marvin Gaye – A Night of Soul
The show pays tribute to Marvin Gaye with a blend of soul and Motown that ranges from the romantic to the most intense. Throughout the evening, you’ll hear songslike “What’s Going On,” “Let’s Get ItOn,” and “I Heard It Through the Grapevine,” performed live with a rhythm that invites you to let yourself go.

What Is The Jazz Room?
The kind of event that makes you love jazz (even more). Set up like a vintage street-side bar, The Jazz Room is an intimate live music concert experience focused on jazz and its related genres. Its key ingredients? Small musical ensembles, the stage production, and a carefully curated repertoire. Its programs rotate and are distinct (jazz, blues, soul, and tributes to artists), each lasting approximately 60 minutes.

There are all kinds of nights, and the ones coming to Monterrey for a limited time with The Jazz Room are of the second kind—the kind you remember long afterward because of the vibe you felt. Especially since, in this case, the soundtrack is provided by a professional band playing the best jazz, soul, and blues tunes. Of course, seating is limited, so if you’d like to experience these concerts firsthand, we recommend reserving your tickets well in advance.
