If you love nature and want to experience something completely different in Monterrey, La Estanzuela Natural Park is preparing a nighttime experience that combines camping, science, and adventure under the stars.
This is “Park Rangers for a Night, ” a new event where you can explore the forest accompanied by park rangers and biologists, participate in interactive activities, and learn about the biodiversity that inhabits this Protected Natural Area.
During the expedition, there will be biological stations, species monitoring, guided tours, and hands-on activities focused on birds, fungi, mammals, insects, and plants. The idea is for participants to learn how people dedicated to environmental observation and research within the park actually work.
In addition, the experience includes socializing, camping, and even a movie under the stars in the middle of the forest.
This is what “Park Rangers for a Night” will be like at La Estanzuela
The event will begin in the afternoon and continue through the night inside the park. Highlights of the activities include a guided night tour, an outdoor environmental talk, and a biological monitoring and mapping activity.
There will also be a morning bird-watching session to wrap up the experience surrounded by nature and fresh air.
Each participant will receive a special event kit containing items such as a map, stickers, bookmarks, guidebooklets, a data sheet, a pen, and even a plaster cast kit.
But hurry! Space is limited to just 50 people, so spots are expected to fill up fast. The money raised will serve as a donation for the care and conservation of La Estanzuela.
