Following its success in Mexico City, the shark experience in Monterrey has now opened at Sealand Monterrey and promises to become one of the must-see attractions of the season.
It’s “Sharks: Kings of the Sea, ” an immersive, multisensory experience that combines art, technology, and science outreach to show you these animals from a completely different perspective.
From the start of the tour, you’ll encounter a large-format photography exhibition featuring works by renowned artists such as Pepe Romero, Félix Ibarra, and Ceci Gutiérrez. Here you’ll learn about different species of sharks while discovering why they are essential to the ocean’s balance.
An immersive experience with art, technology, and an aquarium
What makes the shark experience in Monterrey special is its immersive format. Throughout the tour, you’ll experience video mapping, sensory exhibits, and interactive installations that will make you feel as though you’re inside the ocean.
Additionally, one of its main goals is to change perceptions about these animals, debunking the myth that they are dangerous and revealing their true role in the marine ecosystem.
The finale is one of the most striking moments: entry into the aquarium, where you can see up close one of the country’s most important shark collections. Thus, the experience connects the artistic with real-life encounters with marine life.
The best part is that this experience is already included in Sealand ’s General and VIP admission tickets, so you can easily incorporate it into your visit.
