1. Fundidora Park
This is one of the favorite parks of the regios. Here you can spend some time out doors, have a picnic, ride a bike, and just about anything else you can think of.
Fundidora Park is full of attractions for all ages, and even though it has seasonal events, there are always restaurants, fountains and food stands.
Here you will also find the Oven 3 Museum, the Sesame Street Water Park, and a dinosaur ride.
But undoubtedly one of its protagonists is the Paseo de Santa Lucía, which has an extension of 2.3 kilometers. It starts here and ends at the Mexican History Museum.
This route next to an artificial river is full of lighting, bridges, murals and esplanades.
2. Nuevo León Film Archive
Inside the Fundidora Park you will find the Cineteca Nuevo León. This space is one of the favorite spots for movie lovers and those looking to see something different from commercial cinema.
Art cinema, foreign films and a thousand other things are shown here. The best part? Discounts are available for students and teachers.
3. Saturday Bazaar
As the name implies, this bazaar is only held on Saturdays in Monterrey’s famous Barrio Antiguo.
At the Saturday Bazaar you will find artisans and entrepreneurs who gather to offer their creations in the streets of this colorful neighborhood.
Here you’ll find art, antiques from your great-grandparents’ era and innovative things you probably didn’t know you needed.
4. Chipinque
attention nature lovers! Chipinque Park is one of the must-see places in Monterrey.
This natural reserve has more than 1,700 hectares and here you can enjoy activities such as biking and hiking.
advice? Take binoculars and a good camera, as here you will be able to observe the flora and fauna of the region in detail.
5. San Pedro de Pinta

history lover? You can’t miss the 3 museums of Monterrey. The Museum of Mexican History, the Museum of the Northeast and the Palace Museum.
Here you will learn about the history of Mexico, the northeast of the country and Nuevo León through different exhibits, workshops and activities.
7. La Estanzuela
This is another incredible park that you can visit with whomever you want. Located in the south of the city of Monterrey is the Estanzuela Park and is surrounded by canyons and streams.
Here you will find palapas for up to 50 people and a 3-kilometer trail that is perfect for relaxing and taking it easy.
